Feeding the Bears

"You had to prove -that you're not scared
Enter the cage -and take a dare
Screaming death -in the beast's lair
You couldn't read the signs,
DON'T FEED THE BEARS!"

-Don't Feed The Bears by M.O.D. (Method of Destruction)

Bears seem to popping up in the news all over the place lately. From the Bear Stearns bailout to Russian Tu-95 Bear bombers buzzing the USS Nimitz to the worsening Bear Market in the U.S. dollar, the big lumbering beasts are wont to signify all that is doom in the world today. Truth be told, being fed to the bears is about as under-the-bus as you can be thrown without being turned into road chum while choking on diesel fumes. Therefore it can be highly instructive in the study of criminal motivation - otherwise known as 'Cui Bono' (who benefits) - to try and determine who would get the biggest chuckle out of feeding hapless victims to the bears.

Case in point - today's 'Bull Trap' in the ongoing bear market of stocks. Since the all time high of October 2007 the DOW Jones Industrials Average index has lost roughly 15% of its value, the textbook definition of a bear market. Here a little background is required first. Roughly 21 years ago old 'Red Ronnie' (his Hollywood nickname) Reagan created the Working Group on Financial Markets, ostensibly in response to the market crash of 1987. It was trumpeted by the relevant government and media organs as a means to protect the little guy from losing his pants when Wall Street gets financial incontinence. What he really sold to the American people was an expansion upon the planks of the Communist Manifesto, where the monopolization of money and credit by the state extends into the centralization of economic ownership through the active manipulation of the markets.

In a nutshell, the president has a coven of his biggest-paying corporate cronies across the spectrum of the economy advising him on which irresponsible pinheads need to be saved from the consequences of their own actions when a panic in confidence breaks out on Wall Street. This is commonly called rewarding incompetence with speaking fees and accolades, otherwise known as the 'Old Boy Network.' In the hands of a figurehead like Reagan who needed his wife's astrologer to plan his presidential itinerary, the damage that can be done is limited by the figurehead's lack of imagination. In the hands of a veteran 'Pump and Dump' practitioner, however, paper blood will flow in the streets.

The trap was possibly laid on Monday when the 'deciderer' had his little shadow government pow-wow. The plan had to be ready for action when the Federal Reserve released its prime lending rate determination on Tuesday afternoon. Working backwards from today's abyssmal results one can surmise the idea was to sucker as many desperate fools into the market with an irrational rally as possible. When the Fed cut the prime 75 basis points (3/4 of a percent) to 2.25% on Tuesday, we saw one of the biggest one-day improbable eruptions in recent memory, courtesy of the well-oiled stealth socialist machine. The Quisling media bleated away about how things were finally 'turning a corner.' A whole lot of girly-man, Wall Street meat was dumped into the laps of the hungry bears.

When the grizzlies came calling, all the post-coital euphoria from the financial 'Pravda Press' was bashed into silence by the relentless bear attack. The uppity gave way to the ugly as a 420 point gain on Tuesday was chewed to the bone by 294 points today. It would be interesting to see how the puts (bets the market will go up) and calls (bets that the market will go down) were placed going into this rally, and by whom. Do you suppose any members of the Politburo - I mean Plunge Protection Team - could have possibly benefited from these market gyrations? I mean, it's not like they're insiders, right? They wouldn't dare play the nation for a bunch of saps, would they? Like anyone is going to stop them! Roughly two thirds of the country wants the troops back from the Middle East, but is the supposed 'representative' government listening to the people? No? Do you think maybe singing 'Kumbaya' loud enough will melt their meanie little hearts and let the love flow for the soldiers so they can come home? Well if they won't stop a war the people don't want, what makes you think they won't take advantage of the ultimate insider abomination?

Terrorism From Tiannanmen to Tibet

"By their fruits ye shall know them." -Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth

As of this writing the world watches with bated breath while the well-oiled killing machine known as the communist Chinese government has its dastardly way with the freedom-loving people of Tibet. Not content to have stolen their independence through conquest, the Chinese government periodically flexes its muscle upon the restive portions of Tibet whenever they try asserting their basic human dignity. However in this particular instance it may well be to defy the rest of the world to do anything about it. And in some respects that otherwise 'respectable' people may not like to admit, that's exactly how some of the rest of the world likes it.

Modern China is in many ways the 'first piece' (to bastardize an engineering term) example of what tomorrow's globalized world could look like. It's the wedlock love child of Robber Baron pseudo-capitalism grafted onto a mutant variety of charlatan Marxism, conceived in a Wall Street bordello that grew into its franchise almost fully grown. To put recent events in a proper context, one must revisit the last time China shot down people in its streets without bothering to charge their family members for the bullets - Tiannanmen Square. In 1989 the Chinese put down peaceful demonstrations where the young and visionary called for a more open society with democratic processes. And yet while world opinion was arguably outraged, a curious thing happened in the aftermath - Wall Street increased its investment in China's infrastructure and technology after the massacres.

As a matter of fact, vast portions of the U.S. manufacturing base were dismantled and carted off wholesale to communist China in the years that followed Tiannanmen, including sensitive technological areas like the microprocessors which steer JDAM satellite-guided munitions. Both republican and democrat stage puppets howled with indignation for the cameras while inking deals and relaxing regulations that contradicted the basic principles upon which the U.S. was founded. China made Wall Street an offer it could not refuse: a chance to relive their glory days as plantation masters once again. China's manufacturing and penal systems churn out myriads of products ranging from children's toys to organs harvested from executed prisoners. All for the lowest prices, and what's more, no pesky environmental standards to deal with. No blue-blooded American elitist could possibly say no to such a sweet Luciferian deal!

Pretty soon even the snooty European descendants of nations that suffered similar oppressions during the last global bang up were scrambling to lap up sloppy seconds and get in while the getting was good. The excuse bandied about by the mass media muppets at the time was 'If we isolate China we can't affect any reforms there.' What they really meant was 'If we take a principled stand against these bloodthirsty communists we'd miss out on some highly profitable opportunities.' Like the woman with low self-esteem who still risks dating abusive men because 'It'll be different with me,' the subjects of the complicit western governments and corporations went right along and quietly pretended not to notice what they were consenting to. Hardly anyone complained about U.S. and European corporations funding the expansion of the People's Liberation Army with the profits from their own outsourced jobs. Whereas labor unions in the U.S. were routinely demonized as quasi-communist fronts, nobody ever called the executive board of Walmart traitors for cozying up to the ChiComs.

There is a vicious and persistent symmetry to it all: the same Wall Street that owns and runs slaughterhouses where 'downer cows' are ground up and fed to beef cattle for human consumption supports the Chinese slaughterhouse where eating fetuses is sometimes considered a delicacy. The wares of that slaughterhouse are also meant for western consumption, only with lead paint and formaldehyde standing in for the effects of Bovine Spongiform Encephalitis (a.k.a. Mad Cow disease) in this twisted little 'As above, so below' moment. If you're feeling just a wee bit betrayed by all of this, you should. But beware that you're revolting against a longstanding tradition within the circles of power - the ritualized backstabbing turned into an art form by the ruling elites of the modern world. With every ChiCom item purchased we drive even more nails into the collective coffin of our erstwhile enlightened consciousness. Such is the mandate from our supposed leaders. The reasons the Lord Hashem warned the Israelites against their taking on a king in the book of Samuel (He will eat out their substance and oppress the people) are just as valid today as when the Living G-d walked among his people.

Will there be a boycott of the Summer Olympics? Probably not. After all, the Chinese hosts have ushered the games in with the requisite blood sacrifices required by the global elite. That's why you won't hear Hillary, McCain or Obama denouncing the atrocities too loudly in an election year either - Wall Street will brook no dissent from its actors. Neither will the 'global warming' crowd lift a finger to denounce the crackdown, because who will make their iPods otherwise? In fact, at the behest of their globalist masters, the 'anti-carbon footprint' crowd has been trying to convince the rest of the dwindling middle class to emulate the Chinese 'sustainable' (read - lower per capita income) lifestyle for years now. And what's more, the liquidation of hundreds of Tibetians will give lie to marketing campaign known as the war on terror, because in the power elite's playbook it's not terrorism if a state that plays ball does it. In fact, the war on terror is being used to acclimate Americans to their government working more like China does. Wiping out the Tibetian opposition may provoke a little bluster from the Busheviks, the Obama brigades and the like. But when all is said and done they'll still be open for business, no matter how blood-soaked the Chinese government's hands may be.

Every Day is the Ides of March

The Ides (15th) of March is the anniversary of one of the most celebrated coups in recorded history - plays, movies, novels and poems have all been written about the fateful day Julius Caesar was felled on the floor of the Roman senate by an organized conspiracy of armed senators fearful of his ever consolidating power. Some of those conspirators were even trusted friends of Caesar's, as evidenced by the classic quote "Et tu, Brute? (You too, Brutus?)" Brutus was a close friend and supporter of Caesar who too was distrustful of his growing influence.

What most people don't realize is that everyday folks face an intellectual Ides of March every waking moment of their lives. The very institutions, public figures and even friends and family people rely upon to keep an even keel in many cases are the same agents of betrayal (deliberately or unaware) that Caesar faced on the senate floor. What people also don't realize is that these agents in many cases look upon them with the same fear, bile and contempt that theoretically should be reserved for actual villains and potentates. Here are some prominent examples:

1. State sanctioned corporations - entities with deep enough pockets to 'ease' their way past the covetous maws of the ruling bureaucracy. Many of these entities, like IBM for example, actually receive refunds in their corporate tax filings some years in excess of what they actually pay. And this is despite the fact that they would sell their technology to anyone who would buy it, no matter what their customers may be capable of. It is not definitively known if they knew beforehand that the Nazis would use their punch card computers to make the trains to Auschwitz run like clockwork, but they must have known the character of their clientele after the 'preemptive' invasions of Poland, Czechslovakia, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Greece, the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia from 1939 to 1942.

And like IBM during World War II, modern vaccine manufacturers enforce a quasi-eugenic mandate when they deliberately poison the general population with mercury-laden additives in their vaccines. One wonders if members of Congress get the same 'cocktail' doses that U.S. troops get en route to the Middle East theaters of combat. Nobody has ever said whose responsibility it was to ensure that everyone gets the good stuff, now have they? Yet these corporations are prevalent in the everyday lives of western peoples due to the global Fabian socialism inherent in this consumptive culture. Their logos festoon the sports arenas and their products arguably enhance our lives, but just like the Judas goats that they are, they'll often shrink from doing the right thing if they think they can get away with it. Et tu, corporations?

2. Then there's the mass media, that brothel of brotherly betrayal which pushes a stage managed view of reality in a viciously scientific manner at the behest of those same corporations and in deference to the state. These are the purveyors of the big lie, the Potemkin propagandists who sing lullabies of your liberty to your sensibilities while denying you enough of a full picture to make a truly free and informed decision. They can't quite push enough celebrity titillation and scandal down your throat when you really should be paying attention to the nitty-gritty of say, when your government is telling other governments halfway around the globe that war is coming several months before a 'surprise terror attack' goes down.

As if blindsiding you isn't enough, they'll foist upon you the most outrageous Twilight Zone scenarios packaged as entertainment, where all the state's enforcers are dead-shot scientists with Aryan chiseled features, hearts of gold and impeccable judgment - not the thugs who taser drivers for not signing speeding tickets, arrest grandmothers for taking too long in the drive-thru or plant evidence on helpless, handcuffed victims while their cruisers record the whole thing in real life. No, you'll get spy shows whose entire premise is the justification of torture based on the most remote possibilities, the ones right up there with alien abductions and finding a picture of Jesus in your breakfast cereal (sorry Lord, just making a point). But you'll get all the fast edits, shifting camera angles, manufactured tension and utter silence on matters of the Nuremberg codes, because what you don't know won't save you in the camps. It's called agenda setting, where they don't tell you how to think but instead show you what they want you to think about, and there's a whole social engineering science to the process. Et tu, mass media?

3. Rounding out this Trivium of Treason for this evening are the supposed public servants, the cream of the crap, the saviors of Satan, the poster boys for all who would replace the Living G-d with their miserable, rotting selves. If ever there was a boil on humanity's backside, these people are it! They're not even wise enough to realize they're merely providing a visible target to distract the gaze of their victims away from their actual masters pulling the strings. By virtue of the fortunate accidents of their birth they will rationalize endless ways they can get away with the very things they forbid their constituents from doing. Bribes are illegal because they are too small; make a campaign contribution, some major soft money love to the party store front of your choice and you'll get the unflinching ear of the elected. Slap your spouse in the face, spend a night in the slammer. But become a 'made man' of the ruling elite and you can shoot even your own friends in the face without any repercussions.

What other job lets you forcibly steal the earnings of everyone beneath your self-proclaimed station, pass the loot out to your cronies and smile to the cameras as you take the people's money and use it against them? After all, taxpaying voters will never come calling for the pound of flesh you rightfully owe them. Nobody ever did after Kent State, Waco, Wounded Knee or the M.O.V.E. compound got wiped out. In poorer, less developed nations the natives would run home to get guns, knives, pointed sticks or tires filled with gasoline. In these parts the electorate victims only grab their ankles tighter, hoping their violators will be spent soon so they can slink back into their cathode-ray oblivion and wallow in their mythical manliness. Why? Because the ultimate genital whip is an atomic bomb, and the public servants here have them by the truckload. They used them on foes who were already trying to surrender, they use reactor waste in munitions that kill the enemy fast and their own soldiers slowly...so what would stop them from nuking Vermont if they tried to secede? The public servants here now have the public serving THEM, and it's all in the name of protecting the public. Et tu, government?

A Gathering Storm

Those with eyes to see and ears to hear can give pause to the events now unfolding before us. The hegemonic empire of our time stands poised with talons extended towards its latest would-be victims. Here is a not-so quick and dirty synopsis:

Under the pretext of protecting the peace, the United States government marches towards war with Iran, Syria and Lebanon. Carrier battle groups prowl the Mediterranean, Red Sea and Persian Gulf awaiting the order to begin a long-expected aerial campaign against Iran's alleged nuclear weapons program. Statements issued by the U.S. markedly resemble those issued in the fall of 2002, when similar denials about the desire to initiate hostilities were officially voiced. Then, as now, the pieces have been moved into place: large amounts of fuel have been moved to forward bases in the area, while Patriot missile batteries have been set up in Israel and cooperative Gulf states in preparation for the inevitable retaliatory response.

Ground forces in neighboring Vichy Iraq have been substantially bolstered in recent months, ostensibly to curtail the patriotic resistance movement there. The real question remains as to whether it will be enough to withstand an expected ground assault from the stricken Iranians in conjunction with a simultaneous uprising from the till-now compliant Vichy regime in Baghdad - a regime trained and indoctrinated in Tehran but installed with American tanks. That is but the least of the empire's worries. The Russian Federation is building Iran's nuclear facilities, and has thousands of engineers working on Iran's new reactor. The Russian government has stated unequivocally that an attack on Iran whilst their engineers are working there would be considered an attack on Russia; in recent weeks Russian Tu-95 Bear intercontinental bombers have buzzed U.S. aircraft carriers in the Sea of Japan several times.

Another wildcard for the empire to consider is Beijing, which invested roughly $100 billion in Iran's oil industry in 2005. Iran now supplies roughly 15% of China's energy needs, and it is unlikely that China will stand idly by while their economy is hobbled at the knees by a significant loss of their oil supply. Over the past year Chinese officials have stated they may exercise a 'nuclear option' of their own - to dump their $1 trillion of U.S. treasuries, which would collapse the bond market overnight and grind the U.S. economy to a hyper-inflationary standstill. While few smug beltway analysts consider this a likely move, the fact that it has been telegraphed in advance means it remains an option on Beijing's table.

In the empire's corner is Israel, a tempestuous ally with a habit of starting wars knowing that Big Brother will always bail them out at the 11th hour. Israel has a sizable nuclear arsenal with a Triad (land, sea and air nukes), one of few in the world besides the U.S., Russia, France and possibly China. France has also been quietly building a naval presence in the Persian Gulf in support of the U.S., while Great Britain has been an active junior partner in the U.S.'s campaign to take up the white man's burden in the brown man's deserts. Minor players in this unfolding drama include Lebanon - a broken state with factions both allied with and opposed to the empire, and Syria, which has a mutual defense treaty with Iran. Lebanon and Syria lie directly in the line of fire for Israel, but it remains to be seen how effective their militaries would be in a full blown conflict.

Behind this all is the global economic crisis spurned by decades of fiat currency overproduction, fractional reserve banking, government-sanctioned private malinvestment and elite power broker nepotism gone haywire. A recent analogy to note is the .com market crash in the months preceding the empire's 'New Pearl Harbor,' an event actively wished for by the empire's ascendant mandarins in the years just prior to the .com bust. When thieves cannot conceal the evidence of their robberies they invariably burn the house down while making off with the loot. Interestingly enough, to this day nobody dares say what happened to all the gold that was hidden in the vaults under the World Trade Center, nor do they mention where exactly all the Iraqi oil production is actually headed to. I strongly suspect neither booty will surface to the benefit of the American or Iraqi people anytime soon. This backdrop is both the stuff of nightmares and the wet dream of sociopaths, and it makes a fitting and darkly auspicious air for the launch of this literary endeavor.
